Main goal and the responsibility of the Primary section of Bandaragama Central College is to identify students particular needs and strengths and leading them to be self-motivated and self-directed by providing a strong foundation.
Every part of school learning environment fosters a spirit of home, family, warmth, support, encouragement and authentic love. School encourage students to be sincere, honest and kind in their work, play and in their friendships with other students.
Primary section offers their students a basic knowledge of Reading & Literacy ( Sinhala & English ), Grammar & Composition, Math Instruction, Science Instruction. Apart from in-class activities students receive good konwledge via practical activites too.
School have shown very good results in Grade 5 scholarship exam through out past few yers consecutively.
Primary section students can participate in various events and clubs of the school. Annual Concert provides huge oppertunity for the students to show their talents.
